Campus Sustainability Week

This next week of October, the Campus Environmental Center and others will be hosting a week-long series of events that will include events put on by various organizations, departments, and programs concerned with sustainability issues and topics.

The CEC teams (such as Trash to Treasure & Microfarm) will feature their respective projects, as well as other organizations such as Engineers for a Sustainable World, Orange Bike Project, Students for Clean Water, Office of Sustainability, Landscape Services, Division of Housing & Food Service, and more. Look below for a whole list of events!

Monday 19th: Zero Waste Day
10am-2pm Trash to Treasure Sale, East Mall

Tuesday 20th: Garden Day
10am-2pm Green Fee Tabling, East Mall
11am-2pm Green Corps Open House, Jester Garden (behind Jester)
11am-2pm Build Your Own Terrarium hosted by Engineers for a Sustainable World, East Mall
5:30pm-7:30pm Concho Community Garden Open House, 2108 Concho Street, Austin, TX 78722

Wednesday 21st: Campus Sustainability Day
10am-2pm Campus Sustainability Day Fair, East Mall
10am-2pm Microfarm Food Stand, East Mall
5pm-7:30pm Microfarm Work Day, 2204 Leona St, Austin, TX 78722

Thursday 22nd:Water Day
10am-2pm Green Fee Tabling, East Mall
5pm-7pm Water Walk hosted by Students for Clean Water, Meet at Tower at 4:30pm

Friday 23rd: Food Day
10am-2pm Food Day Fair, East Mall
11am-12pm Texas Green Tour, meet on Jester steps at the intersection of 21st St. and Speedway
