Boomer Retirement Course: The Rules Have Changed! (Wednesday)

Tools for Retirement Planning in Today’s Economy

“I wish I would have taken this class years ago…”

Want to get on a secure financial path to retirement? Have you been saving for retirement or paid into a 401K but don’t know how to optimize your assets?

Get the expert guidance you need to set yourself up for a comfortable retirement in Austin. In this fact-driven, interactive course Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) Scott Campbell shows you how to create an effective Austin retirement plan.
The curriculum for this Baby Boomer retirement course is based on the latest academic research from various institutions. A combination of classroom instruction, Q&A sessions and informative handouts cover a variety of topics, such as asset risk, IRA considerations, retirement income and estate issues.
If you’re nearing retirement age or have questions about retirement planning this course is for you. The Boomer Retirement Course is designed to help participants who are considering early retirement, are about to retire or are in the early stages of planning for retirement. You’ll learn how to take control of your retirement planning by gaining a better understanding of how the rules have changed and how the current economy affects your financial growth.

“Great, very helpful. Helped me know what I don’t know.”

During the Boomer Retirement Course complex financial topics are presented clearly. The discussions go much deeper than differentiating a traditional IRA from a Roth IRA. We’ll explore the fundamental shifts in retirement planning that’s affecting the Baby Boomer Generation and how to weigh your income optimization options. It’s a comprehensive personal finance course that covers everything you need to know to begin getting your accounts in order for retirement.
The course addresses essential topics and difficult retirement decisions such as:
How the Retirement Rules Have Changed
The State of Social Security
Optimal Asset Allocation
The Three Income Planning Techniques
Investment Options for the Changing Times
Alternatives to Equity Investing
Social Security Maximization
Integrating Money and Life
Factoring in Long-Term Care Costs
Spend Down Strategies
Loss Conversions
Estate Planning
Minimizing Taxes

Many people can’t solely rely on social security in retirement. Having a pension plan or being part of a teacher retirement system is a great start, but it’s far from the end goal. A comfortable retirement in Austin requires careful asset allocation, expense management minimizing tax burdens and much more. The Boomer Retirement Planning Course gives you a better understanding of all the factors involved and how they work together in retirement.
“The information on Social Security alone was worth the price…”

Most people want to know, how much money do I need to retire? The recommended average retirement savings may not work in your situation, which is exactly why the Boomer Retirement Course is so beneficial. Participants will be given personalized financial reports and informative guides that help you determine a comfortable income and asset level for retirement.
You’ll also have an opportunity to get your questions answered by a financial expert. The provided financial tools will help you better understand retirement accounts, gauging risk, taxes, budgeting, estate planning and more. The class fee includes all course materials and handouts, including:
Baby Boomer Retirement Course Classroom Workbook
Getting Your Financial House in Order Self-Study Guide
Getting Your Estate in Order Guidebook
Personalized Social Security Strategy Report
Personal Wealth Index Questionnaire and Customized Report

“Great Handouts – now we have an idea of what we are doing!”
