12 PM Yoga in the Galleries

4:00 – 5:30 PM Let’s Make Some Steam: A hands-on approach to fusing art and science
Dr. Stuart Reichler, from the College of Natural Science, and Siobhan McCusker, Blanton educator, lead an interactive lecture/workshop that explores the interactions between art and science. RSVP to [email protected] Space is limited.

5:30 PM Beat the Rush
Beat the Rush is a series of gallery concerts in which musicians perform in response to the paintings, drawings and sculptures on display.

6:30 PM Perspectives: Peruvian photography panel discussion
A Panel discussion featuring artists included in Fixing Shadows: Contemporary Peruvian Photography, 1968-2015

6:30 PM ARTiculamos
El Blanton ofrece visitas guiadas en español basado en las colecciones permanente y exposiciones especial. A Spanish language tour designed around variable themes or special exhibitions.

7:30 PM Slow Looking tour
An in-depth examination and discussion of select artworks
