Birdathon: Baker Sanctuary Walk

May 21, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

*This event was rescheduled from April 17 due to weather*

Join Chris Murray and Cindy Sperry for an insider’s tour of the Sanctuary’s hiking trails. The chances are great for up close viewing of Golden-cheeked Warblers as they begin nesting.

All levels of birders and outdoor enthusiasts are welcome. This is a rare opportunity for non-members to explore Baker Sanctuary! Baker is one of Travis Audubon’s three sanctuaries and is dedicated to conservation efforts. We will meet at 8:00 am at the Jackie Arnold Education Center at 12308 Lime Creek Road.

Chris is the Baker Land Steward and Educator for Travis Audubon and Cindy is a wildlife biologist for the City of Austin and runs Baker bird surveys. You’ll be in good hands!

Minimum Donation: $50
