In 2005, after the breakup of his band Endochine, local musician Casey McPherson started a new group called Alpha Rev. While their single “New Morning” is a bit on the older side, Alpha Rev holds plenty of promise as they know how to write a great song that makes their audience take notice.
Named by Austin Monthly as a local band who is most likely to succeed in 2008, the group has had some success since their formation, but after listening to “New Morning,” its baffling why they haven’t had more. Listen to “New Morning” below.
