17th Annual Black Composers Concert—The Living Composer

Our 17th year of this annual event pays tribute to living African American composers from across the country. This year’s concert features works by Errollyn Wallen, Valerie Colman, James Lee III, and others. Special guests include award-winning pianist Artina McCain, who returns this season to curate the program; along with the incredible jazz group The Blacklist, and some of the featured composers!

The concerts are FREE and open to the public, though registration is recommended! Registration does NOT guarantee a seat! To secure a seat, please arrive 30 minutes before the concert.
