Enjoy Dog-Friendly Fun in Austin With Your Furry Family Members

For many of us Austinites, our canine friends are family. They afford us with extra opportunities to get out and experience a different side of Austin.

Our family is in the process of adopting this sweet boy from Gold Ribbon Rescue.

Our last dog was friendly enough, but he just wasn’t the type we thought about taking too many places, for various reasons. Our new pup is very easygoing, so it has us all excited to get out there and explore.

OFF-LEASH DOG PARKS

The City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department off-leash areas are open from 5am until 10pm, barring any events or maintenance issues. Check here for reminders about rules while in off-leash areas.
