Chisholm Trail Days in Georgetown

Experience history this Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Chisolm Trail Days in Georgetown’s San Gabriel Park. This free family-friendly event features living history demonstrations, working blacksmiths, hands-on activities, pony and wagon rides, a children’s corral, authentic chuckwagons, and live western music, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will even be a cattle drive along the river beginning at noon!

Event Schedule:

  • 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. –  Cowboy Breakfast served by Buckaroo Band – $3 per person
  • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Kids Activities
  • 9:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. – Sam Bass Shootout
  • 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Longhorn Cattle Drive

  • 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Evelyn Billington- The Yodelin’ Cowgirl
  • 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Voices from the Past Play “How the West was Lost”
  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Russ Phillips Cowboy Poetry
  • 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Voices from the Past Play “How the West was Lost”
  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – Pat Gavin and the Buckaroo Band
  • 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Jesse Saunder’s Old Time Cowboy Band
