Waterloo Greenway is celebrating Earth Day 2020 by launching a series of free, online, and interactive experiences that you don’t want to miss!

Viewers will get behind-the-scenes looks at the construction progress of Waterloo Park, Austin’s newest 11-acre park in the heart of downtown. Each tour will highlight a different aspect of the park and feature presentations by Waterloo Greenway staff and city partners.

First up is a Waterloo Park Sustainability Tour in honor of Earth Day! The tour will highlight the wide array of sustainability features in the works at the new park. You’ll need to RSVP here in advance to receive the GoToMeeting video conference details. Full recordings of the tours will also be posted at waterloogreenway.org the following day.

Once complete, Waterloo Park will be home to 1.5 miles of hike-and-bike trails, stunning Hill Country gardens, imaginative playscapes, plus the 5,000-person-capacity Moody Amphitheater.
