Here’s how Austinites can dive into the area’s hottest hotel pools.
Hit the Westin Hotel every Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight for the Azul Rooftop Pool and Bar Sun(set) Series. Hang out on one of the few rooftop pools in Austin and listen to DeeJay Alex play your favorite hits all night long. Best part of all, it’s FREE!
The pool is also open to the public Monday through Wednesday from noon to 11 p.m. and on Thursday from noon to Midnight.

Have a full day-cation experience at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort. Set on 400 acres of rustic natural beauty along the banks of the lower Colorado River, the resort is a wilderness retreat with myriad activities for families and adults. Splash and play at the amazing water park featuring a lazy river, waterslide, and sandy beach area. For a relaxing environment, kick back at the adults-only pool or book a spa pass at Spa Django for ultimate pampering and bliss. The weekday price is $45 for adults and $25 for children, and the weekend price is the same for children, but $50 for adults.

Unfortunately, the Fairmont Austin pool is only open to hotel guests. However, the 7th floor bar Rules & Regs, located next to the pool, is open to the public and has weekly events such as the Bubbles & Beats DJ series on Sundays. With $5 glasses of Prosecco and $35 glasses of Dom, you can be as budget or as boujee as you want. The choice is yours.
Additionally, the Fairmont is currently running an exclusive package for Texas residents, which includes complimentary parking and the best available room rate online. Austin locals booking this package for a staycation have been able to do so at a starting price on less-busy weekends as low as $179 per night.

Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (some holiday dates blacked out), you can hang where many of the Hollywood elite stay when in the ATX. Entry to the Four Seasons pool includes use of the locker rooms, fitness center, eucalyptus steam room, towels, noodles, and beautiful views of Lady Bird Lake. Of course, poolside dining and refreshments are also available. Heated to 82ºF, the pool can be enjoyed year-round. Cost is $60 and purchases are made through the spa.
Throughout the summer the Four Seasons also offers a special package for locals that comes with a complimentary pool pass when you book any 50 or 80 minute spa treatment. The offer is only available on Wednesdays and “Wednesday Love for Locals” must be mentioned at the time of booking to receive the offer. Limited quantities are available and treatments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. In addition to the pool, guests who book this package would also have access to the Spa locker rooms, eucalyptus steam rooms, fitness center, and relaxation lounge.

Dip into the season with a pool day at Hotel Ella. Through Labor Day weekend, you can sip cocktails and get sunkissed at the pool with a daily pass Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Sunday walk-ins accepted based on availability.

Soak up the sun or breathtaking views of Lady Bird lake at The Deck, located just outside of Geraldine’s restaurant. Sip on craft brews, cocktails created with local spirits, and fresh pressed juices made with the local produce. Wash it down with delectable pool appropriate fare with a touch of Austin flair from the team at Geraldine’s. Unfortunately, the actual pool is only open to hotel guests, however, the bar and surrounding scene is open to the public starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

You can live the Vegas lifestyle right here in Austin by renting a pool side cabana at Edge Rooftop Pool Bar at the JW Marriott. Rentals are available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can be booked online. A $250 food & beverage minimum is required on weekdays. The weekend rental fee is $500.
You can also gain access to the JW Marriott Austin pool and amenity deck and fitness center following a Spa by JW Treatment (manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, etc.). Spa treatments can be booked online as well. More info here.

Stay cool at Lone Star Court’s pool! The Lone Star Court offers pool passes that grant non-hotel guests access to the property’s pool on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer. Running through Labor Day weekend, the boutique hotel will be selling the pool passes for $15 per person, which includes complimentary self-parking and access to Lone Star Court’s pool during regular pool hours (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.). Passholders can purchase bites and sips at happy hour pricing from Lone Star Court’s on-site restaurant and bar, The Water Trough, from noon to 9 p.m. A limited number of pool passes are available on a first come, first serve basis at Lone Star Court’s front desk.

The W Austin WET Deck offers one of the best deals in town for non-hotel guests. Day passes are available weekdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for only $15! Happy hour and night swims are free from 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays as well. Night Swim on Thursdays even includes live music.
Every Sunday starting at noon, the WET Deck also allows locals to soak up the sounds of summer featuring live beats by DJ Bird Peterson and guests. Cost is $20 and all tickets must be purchased here – cash is not accepted at the door.
