Are you bored during this time of quarantine? Coronovirus got you down? Are you remembering to drink your juice? Well, then you’re in luck! Join us for a (semi) staged reading of Robert Harling’s “Steel Magnolias” and join the ladies of Chinquapin Parish, Louisiana as we celebrate laughter, love, and loss. We will be broadcasting a Zoom performance from the comforts of our own quarantined homes to the comforts of yours! Imagine it: a theatre performance you can watch in your cozy sweats with all the booze you want! We will be doing two performances over the course of the weekend in order to raise money for the Universal Food Bank and furloughed employees of Patika Coffee Shop. Everyone has been affected in some way or another by COVID-19, and the service industry in particular has been hit hard. They will be posting a digital “tip jar” to help raise funds and have them distributed to these wonderful people.
