Looking to spend some quality time with your furry friend this March? Or perhaps you wish to be surrounded by dogs, cats, and even goats? Well, here you go. We’ve rounded up the best pet friendly events happening in Austin all month long.

Manicure Mondays at Tomlinson’s Feed
April 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 | from 1 to 3 p.m. | Tomlinson’s Feed, 5716 Burnet Rd., Ste. B
Trimming your dog’s nails isn’t fun- for both you and them. Save yourself the trouble and head over to our store to have Groomingdale’s of Austin help! Services: Nail trim – $10 for small dogs; $12 for medium dogs; and $15 for large dogs. Prices subject to change.

DOGA – Bring Your Dog to Yoga
April 6 & 27 | at 11 a.m. | Tomlinson’s Feed, 908 E. 49th 1/2 St.
Join for an extra special yoga class with your dog! The certified yoga instructors will take people and their pups through a yoga practice suitable for all-levels. This event provides a healthy way to stay fit of mind and body and to enjoy quality time with your canine best friend. Students should wear comfortable clothes and bring yoga mat to class. Your dog should be updated on shots and be well socialized. You and your dog will do some yoga poses, and have some fun! Proceeds of this class will benefit local animal rescues! Suggested donation: $25.

BYOD Austin Peanut Butter Pawty
April 6 | from 1 to 3 p.m. | Oskar Blues Brewery, 10420 Metric Blvd.
It’s time to go MUTTS for PEANUTS! BYOD and Oskar Blues Brewery are coming together to invite you and your pup to an afternoon of tail wags, peanut butter, and great brews. Humans will enjoy beefy brews, while dogs enjoy peanut butter tasting and a peanut butter licking contest. During the pawty, dogs and their people will watch 10 pups compete for the title, “Peanut Butter Champion of the Universe!” NOT A BYOD MEMBER? Saturday Night Concert Series 
April 7, 14, 21 & 28 | from 7 to 11 p.m. | Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd.
Hill Country Galleria is excited to announce the return of its spring Saturday Night Concert Series. This free 10x music series hosted by Austin City Limits Radio features local favorites such as Nakia, Dale Watson and Fastball. The concerts take place in the Central Plaza and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket to lounge on the grassy lawn during the show. Admission is free and dogs are welcome.

Shoal Creek Day: Dogs
April 14 | from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Duncan Park, 901 W. 9th St.
Head out to Duncan Park for a morning full of dogs, yoga, music, and fun in the sun! The Austin Animal Center will be bringing a half dozen dogs to adopt. The Dog Chick will be hosting a free clicker dog training group session and complimentary 1 on 1 individual consultations, as well as discounts on training packages. There will be live music performances by both Brad Graves & The Heathens, and Caravan. Krisers Pets will be handing out free dog goodies. And we’ll even have dog yoga. You’ll end the fun event for those who want even more, with a dog walk social strolling down the Shoal Creek Trail from Duncan Park south to the Central Library and back.

Pints For Pups (Georgetown)
April 18 | from 4 to 9 p.m. | Rentsch Brewery, 2500 NE Inner Loop, Georgetown
Join Rentsch Brewery for live music, trivia, raffles, and a food truck! $1 from every Texas Lager pint is donated to the Friends of the Georgetown Animal Shelter.

Weiner Dog Races (Buda)
April 27 & 28 | from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Buck’s Backyard, 1750 S. Farm to Market 1626, Buda
The 2019 Buda Wiener Dog Races are on. The Buda Lions Club is holding them next to Buck’s Backyard, and parking down below the event. More information at www.budalions.com.

Freddy’s Barks for Beers
April 27 | from 1 to 4 p.m. | Flying Man Brewing Co., 2400 Patterson Industrial Dr.
Join Divine Canine Freddy Pickles at Flying Man Brewing as we celebrate the opening of Barks for Beers month! Purchase a glass and pawsport for $30 and receive a free pour of beer at all of our participating breweries! (Final list of breweries coming soon.) Glasses and pawsports will go on sale at all participating breweries on April 26th. Help us to provide free therapy dog services throughout the central Texas area free of charge, and drink a beer while you’re at it! Tons of raffle prizes and swag bags for the first 50 people in the door. Raffle tickets are $1 and all proceeds to go Divine Canines.

Woofstock 2019 (Pflugerville)

Head out to Heritage Park on April 28th for our 3rd annual Woofstock event! As always, there will be live bands, food trucks, vendors, adoptable pets, and fun and activities for the whole family! Well behaved, on leash dogs are invited to come out and enjoy the day of fun also.

Paint Your Pet to Benefit Austin Dog Rescue (Cedar Park)

Dog and Human Shake Out Run
April 29 | from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Ready to Run, 3616 Far West Blvd., #120
Attention owners of dogs, doggos, puppies, pups and puppers- bring your furry friend to Ready To Run on April 29! Get your K-9’s ready for the “Fastest Dog 5K’ at the Austin Sunshine Run. they will meet at the store (with their humans) for a shake-out run in preparation for the race that weekend! We will also have an opportunity to sign up for the race afterwards. There will have a walking route, so if you are just looking for a social stroll we’ve got you covered. Doggie treats will be provided.
