Gritty, reflective, and honest are three words to describe the new album Foursight, the recently released record from Austin hip hop quartet, Mindz of A Different Kind. Opening with the track “Afrophyziks,” the nearly five-minute track leaves the bands audience feeling that the music comes from the heart.
As each member glides from one smooth rhyme to the next, we won’t be surprised if Foursight becomes known around the world, thanks to its universal subject matter. With a hardened edge that accompanies its driving beat, “Afrophyziks” gets to the core of hip hop’s raw and real vibe.
