Halloween Spelltacular Movies in the Park – Hocus Pocus

Get your cauldrons ready for a special showing of Hocus Pocus complete with costume contest and witching-hour activities including a dance party, broom race, photo booth, and food truck courtyard. The whole party is BYOB, so feel free to bring anything in your cauldron that you’d like to enjoy! Tickets are $5-20 and benefit the Austin Parks Foundation.

Neverending Halloween Homecoming

Spider House Ballroom is hosting a Halloween party stocked full of spooky surprises like exorcisms, blood, smoke, skulls and so much more. Performances from the ghost of Tom Petty, invoked by Johnny Walker and the Heartfakers, as well as the soul of Prince, taken possession by Letty Leal Evans. It’s all topped off with a Midnight hour karaoke costume party where the one with the most baffling song/ costume combo will be crowned the demonlord of Halloween. Lala’s Zombie Christmas

Celebrate the nightmare before Christmas with Lala’s Zombie Christmas party. Enjoy some spooky cocktails as well as Celis Pint Night where those who purchase a pint of Celis will receive a free glass with purchase. Costumes are not required, but are encouraged as there will be a costume contest and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Terrors of the Cocktail at Treaty Oak

Throw on your costumes and head over to the Terrors of the Cocktail at Treaty Oak (if you dare)! It promises to be a thrilling evening of Halloween-themed fun with live music by Selwyn Birchwood, free Haunted Hayrides starting and phenomenal food and cocktail specials, including the Grave Digger cocktail with dry ice, roasted s’mores by the fire, and the special release of Ghost Hill Bourbon. Bloody Good Beer Fest

We Are Blood is excited to partner with Craftsman Drinkery for the 2nd annual Bloody Good Beer Fest. The fundraiser to benefit the local blood bank will feature a great brewery sampling lineup and a cookout from Austin Pig Roast. Attendees are invited to try four oz. glasses from 10 breweries for just $15, and Oktoberfest meal plates will also be available for $10. Tickets are now available here.

Pugtober – Doggie & Beauty Event + Costume Contest benefiting Pug Rescue of Austin

Celebrate the season at Pugtober at Cotone, benefiting Pug Rescue of Austin. All doggies welcome! Event includes free wellness and beauty services, raffle prizes, Halloween doggie contest, chair massages, live DJ and more.

Monday, October 30

The Conjuring Halloween Dinner

Chef Gabe Erales will collaborate with the women of Holy Roller for The Conjuring, a seated six course dinner and drink pairing. The very limited one-seating will begin at 7 p.m., Tickets are $90 per person and include access to the late-night Halloween shindig which begins in the space at 9. Admission is included with the purchase of a dinner ticket. Guests not attending the dinner, can also join for The Conjuring After -Party. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume for the party which is $30 per person. Tickets can be purchased here.

Bats and Booze Halloween Sunset Cruise

Enjoy great music, snacks, and cocktails aboard a fabulous boat with air conditioning, bathrooms, and a gorgeous roof deck. As always, they’ll pause near the bridge to watch the bats and tell you a little bit about them. Plus, in honor of Halloween, this event includes a pre-Cruise Happy Hour at YETI from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. (with beverage and merch deals), followed by the cruise from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A DJ will be spinning from the upper deck, and they’ll be sure to play your favorite Halloween classics like Thriller and Monster Mash. It’s Hops & Grain’s annual Halloween party ON actual Halloween. Mark your calendars and start planning (if you haven’t already) your costume. They’ll hold their annual costume contest with prizes for the top three winners. Plus, there will be a live DJ, food truck, and an all around killer time!

Halloween with Edgar Allen Poe

Join Chez Zee for a fun-filled, spooky evening of macabre and mysterious poems and stories by Edgar Allan Poe. The romance, the passion, and the fears of one of America’s most distinguished writers are brought to life by actor Lucien Douglas in this dramatic presentation that includes performances of “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Raven.” The event will feature Chez Zee’s signature desserts, coffee & “Raventini” cash bar.
