In June, the son of legendary actor/ director Clint Eastwood announced on Instagram that he “said goodbye to California and moved to Texas. Couldn’t take the crowds anymore.” Since then, he has shared a handful of pics while out and about around Austin.

Holiday Pop-Up Bars Take Over Austin

Speaking of pop-ups, holiday pop-up bars are all the rage in Austin this season. For the second year, the team at the Roosevelt has turned the Eleanor Bar into Miracle on 5th Street, which features our favorite drink called Yippi Ki Yay Mother F***er. New this year, Sippin’ Santa has turned Nickel City into a holiday tiki bar, complete with themed drinks including the Yule Shoot Your Eye Out. And that’s not all. The W Hotel Austin has turned their “secret bar” into a grinch themed bar called The WHO-TEL.

If you’d like to visit any of these locales, addresses are below. Call or check their respective websites for hours.

Miracle on 5th Street | The Eleanor | 307 W 5th St.

Sippin’ Santa | Nickel City | 1133 E 11th St.

WHO- TEL | W Hotel Austin | 200 Lavaca St.
