Architectural Digest Highlights Jensen Ackles’ Austin Home

Jensen and Danneel Ackles’ Lake Travis home is featured on Architectural Digest‘s Celebrity Homes section this week. The home started out as what Danneel called a “Texas Tuscan look,” think generic stuccoed track mansion, but has become a stunning wood-clad ranch-style space. See more here.

Amy Brown’s Pay it Forward Focused Swag

“The Bobby Bones Show” member Amy Brown stopped by “Good Day Austin” to share some of the newest items in her The Shop Forward and ESPWA lines. Every product sold follows the brand’s mission of supporting programs and organizations that are effectively working to help others around the world. During the interview, Amy mentioned that $1.7 million has been donated to St. Jude through sales of #pimpinjoy products alone. Look for their new holiday inspired products here.

Austin Celebrities Star in the Blue Genie Art Bazaar

While browsing hundreds of Austin made items at the Blue Genie Art Bazaar, you’ll notice a recurring theme among many of the booths. Austinites are proud of the celebs who hail from here. And why wouldn’t we be? With big names like Matthew McConaughey, Willie Nelson, and the stars of “Supernatural” calling Austin home, there’s a lot to brag about.

Sometimes, even celebs with no ties to Texas play starring roles. We couldn’t resist snapping this pic of the hailing queen of country Dolly Parton, standing by our man Willie.
