“Fear the Walking Dead” Around Austin
The cast of “Fear the Walking Dead” is back in action in Austin. Last weekend, Garret Dillahunt took in a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse. Meanwhile, Jenna Elfman is once again posting stories of her daily life on and off set around the ATX. And Maggie Grace posted this pic, tagged in San Marcos.

Mary Poppins Don’t Talk or Text PSA
In conjunction with the film Mary Poppins Returns, stars Emily Blunt and Lin Manuel-Miranda released a no talking PSA for the Alamo Drafthouse. In the clip, the actors claim that if you talk or text, your phone goes into Mary’s magical bag.
Amber Heard Named ACLU Ambassador
Austin native Amber Heard had a good week. She announced on Thursday that she is now an ACLU ambassador and posted an op-ed in the Washington Post on women who are channeling their rage for good. She also finished up her month long press tour for Aquaman (she stars as Mera), which is in theaters now.
Drew Brees Sends Gifts to Fellow Players
As if we didn’t already know that Drew Brees is a good guy, last week the all-time passing leader sent gifts to more than 100 of his current and former teammates and coaches for helping him along the way. Each football featured text proclaiming his achievement alongside the recipient’s stats from when they played with the QB.
