Want to know about this week’s hottest headlines in Austin entertainment? You’ve come to the right place. These are the top five pop culture related stories with ties to the ATX.

Amber Heard Has Fans Furious At Jason Momoa

While on set of the upcoming film Aquaman, Austin native Amber Heard found herself spending much of her time dangling in the air, waiting for the cameras to roll. To pass the time, she’d read. Apparently, her reading habit did not go over well with co-star Jason Momoa.

“He adopted this method of ripping out the pages of my book so I would pay attention to him,” she said on “Good Morning America”. “It would drive me crazy because I’d have 30 pages left and it would be gone.”

Now, fans on social media are fired up at the film’s main man, calling him a monster and a bully. Pretty sure that wasn’t Heard’s intention with sharing the story, but some of the backlash tweets are quite amusing.

Snoop Dogg Puff Puff Passes at The Dell Diamond

Snoop Dogg’s Puff Puff Pass Tour made a stop in Round Rock on December 2. The Dell Diamond appearance was a part of the Texas ballpark leg of the tour. Too Short and Warren G also performed.

If you missed it and would still like to see Snoop, he’ll be at the House of Blues in Dallas on December 17.

Gary Clark Jr. Performs at ACL Live

Hometown boy Gary Clark Jr. wrapped up his current tour with three sold out shows at ACL Live at the Moody Theater this week.

Here’s a clip to remind you how great he is. You know, in case you forgot.

Mack Brown Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Congrats to former Texas Longhorn coach Mack Brown who was inducted into the college football hall of fame on December 4.

Though now the head coach of the UNC Tarheels, we assume Brown will continue to be active in his Mack Jack McConaughey foundation here in Austin. The organization posted this tribute to the hall of famer on Instagram.
