Us The Duo at The Parish
After meeting on the set of a music video in 2011, Us The Duo, which consists of husband and wife Michael and Carissa Alvarado, began uploading six second videos to Vine and started to develop a following. Soon after they were signed to Republic Records. Since then, they have been touring nonstop and will be including The Parish as a stop on their current tour this weekend.

The Human Circuit at The Swan Dive
Local act The Human Circuit will be performing alongside Free Kittens & Bread tonight at The Mohawk. With their experimental jazz and rock music, you won’t be able to stop listening to this band once their set is over. Always creative and entertaining, The Human Circuit are not a group to miss this weekend.

Jake Ward at Lamberts
Corpus Christi native Jake Ward will be coming to Austin this weekend to perform his stunning country songs with a beautiful voice that mesmerizes every audience he performs for. With tracks such as “Hit The Road,” a duet with vocalist Melissa Brooke, we think that watching Ward perform live this Friday night is an excellent choice.

Skyline at Austin Beer Garden and Brewery
Bringing old style rock and roll music to the current generation is exactly what Skyline are doing. Based locally here in Austin, listeners will be reminded of greats such as Janis Joplin and Creedence Clearwater Revival for their raspy vocals and crunchy guitar riffs that are too good to ignore. The band released their full-length album Good Days in April.

Lil Debbie at The Empire Control Room
Best known as a member of the now defunct group The White Girl Mob, emcee Lil’ Debbie is coming to the Empire Control Room to treat hip hop fans to her catchy rhymes, with songs such as “Break It Down.”

Chris Stapleton at Austin 360 Ampitheatre
Starting his career as a songwriter, Chris Stapleton released his first album Traveler last year to positive reviews. With hit songs such as “Traveler” and “Fire Away,” you will immediately fall in love with Chris’ voice, while enjoying the sweet sounds of his incredible guitar playing. Hank Williams Jr. will be performing at this show too, so get on down to the Austin 360 Amphitheater for a night of great country music.

Soaked at Swan Dive
Calling themselves the “next great American rock band” local group Soaked certainly know how to rock as you can see from the video below taken during a performance at Swan Dive, which you can watch here. Soaked always knows how to make their audience have a great time at their shows, so if you are interested in seeing some local music this Saturday night, they are an excellent choice.

Transit Method
Originally from New Jersey, Austin Transit Method band has written some addicting songs, with their latest release Roach including a few catchy tunes that will give the band much notice throughout our local scene.

Highland Kites at The Mohawk
Traveling to Austin from Los Angeles, folk-alternative rock act Highland Kites will be performing this weekend at The Mohawk to introduce listeners to their dreamy tunes such as “Plastic Towns” from their EP Let Me Run.

The Summer Sampler at The Mohawk
Featuring artists in several creative fields, The Mohawk will be hosting the first Summer Sampler. As with any event in Austin, it won’t be complete without music. Evan Jeffrey is one of the artists performing at the event, with songs such as “Brick by Brick,” and we are convinced that with his great guitar skills and soothing voice, you will be ending your weekend the right way by seeing him live.
