Austin band The Coveters will be performing at Austin Beer Garden and Brewery to kick off your weekend with some great Americana music. This group is a new project from famed Austin guitarist Warren Hood, so we promise you that this performance will be a great one, as their songs will move your soul. Due to the popularity of this particular venue, we encourage you to get to the show early.
Known for his stage name Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, British electronic music producer Orlando Higginbottom is a great DJ to see if you are looking for something subtle to start your weekend off. With tracks such as “Garden,” Totally Enormous…is a great way to ease into the groove of the weekend.
Performing a mix of rock, soul, and funk, Washington DC musician Citizen Cope performs a pleasing blend of genres that you won’t be able to get enough of. Always appealing and funky, tracks such “Bullet and a Target” will get you singing along in no time, convincing you that you need to hear more of his music. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to Beauty for Freedom, an organization who fights human trafficking through workshops, public campaigns, and fundraising events.

Australian rock band Stonefield will be hitting the stage at The Mohawk to perform their amazing songs that show the scope and range of the sibling bands talent. With songs such as “Put Your Curse On Me,” it becomes clear that the group can sing well together, with the gospel choir singing throughout, adding a timeless touch to the song. For fans of Janis Joplin, you won’t want to miss this incredible band.

Saturday, June 25th
Formed in Boston, this jazz inspired band is a great group to catch this weekend. Sounding like they are from another era, Lake Street Dive play a funky blend of different genres that feel magnetic and pure. Starting out as a country band, the group decided to change their sound once they realized they were on the wrong path. Check out their performance on a sidewalk below, when they appeared on the YouTube channel of altruistic organization Soul Pancake.

With influences ranging from Kings of Leon, Phoenix, and The XX, local band Swimming with Bears is a rock band that will kick start your weekend the right way. It only takes one listen to their music and live performances to realize how good this group is at performing live. We’ve got a song from their show at The White Rabbit in San Antonio below for your viewing pleasure. We hope that this video will convince you to see them live.
Progressive rock band Little Tybee, who hails from Atlanta, will be coming to Lamberts this Saturday night to perform their incredible music that uses a wide range of sounds to convey emotions and feelings to their audience. With tracks such as “Don’t Quick Your Day Job” new fans will realize the talent that this group possesses, while hoping that they explode sometime soon.
Outskirts is an up and coming rock band from Austin who to claim to melt your soul with their melodies. At the Dog Day Debut last year, the group wowed the crowd with their skills and amazing live presence, which allows you to get lost in the music and think about the weekend in front of you. Check out their performance at Dog Day to see what we mean.
Italian house and DJ producer Stefano Noferini will be coming to Austin this weekend to bring the house down at Kingdom, the perfect place to hear electronic music in Austin. With addicting and thumping beats that will urge the entire crowd to get moving, we can’t recommend Noferini enough, so we suggest that you get your tickets early.

With calm and dreamy songs, Brooklyn duo Pleasure Prince are a great group to wind down the week. Creating a certain atmosphere with their music, the group will get you prepared to head to the office with a clear mind as they glide through their set with complete ease.
