Texas based rock band Explosions In The Sky will be taking the stage at the Paramount Theatre this Friday in support of their upcoming album The Wilderness which will be released in April. Known for their long instrumental and hypnotic songs, the band have become quite a popular draw locally as well as nationally. This particular concert is the second performance of a two night run in Austin. St. Louis rock band Foxing will be rolling into Austin this Friday evening to perform at The Sidewinder to introduce listeners to their magical and catchy music. Releasing their latest album Dealer last year, Foxing is certainly a group not to miss as their shows are energetic and memorable making you want to tell all of your friends about the performance. Riggi and Piros just may be the next big thing in the EDM (electronic dance music) scene as their songs are explosive, catchy, and very likeable. Hailing from Clifton, New Jersey the duo who consists of Ant Riggi and James Piros, write booming and exciting tracks that take EDM music to the next level. Playing this year’s Ultra Festival is no small feat and we are sure that the band’s music will turn heads in no time after performing at the festival. Composing songs that turns electronic dance music into a kaleidoscope of colors, Riggi and Piros will certainly help you ease into the weekend immediately after watching them.
Swedish born American blues guitarist Anders Osborn will be lighting up the Scoot Inn this Saturday evening to perform soulful licks and an entertaining set where his audience can become lost in the music. With influences such as Ray Charles and Van Morrison, Osborne knows how to inject a lot of soul and passion into his songs, making a lasting impression on whoever sees him play live.
Local Austin musician Sam Pace will be rocking Swan Dive this Saturday to perform his incredibly soulful songs that move the soul. The blues guitarist who has lived in Austin since 2011, mesmerizes audiences with his blazing guitar riffs and deep gruff voice that will remind older listeners of Howlin’ Wolf, while taking you back to a simpler time when blues music was a popular form of creative expression. Getting the audience involved at nearly every turn in his set, Pace is a unique musician who has an incredible passion and love for music that resonates well with his audiences.
Local indie band Darkbird will be hitting up The Sidewinder to perform their haunting indie songs that will bring a new angle to how you experience the weekend, and with songs such as “Poison Arrows” you will be glad that you stumbled upon this upcoming act as you won’t be able to stop listening.

If you want to end your Easter Sunday on a high note, look no further than seeing Magma at The Mohawk this weekend, as the French rock band will certainly bring the house down like no else can. With an energetic presence that cannot be matched, you should get tickets to see the group as soon as possible.
Hot Texas Swing Band will be kicking off the Sunday Best music series at Austin Beer Garden and Brewery this weekend with their catchy country songs that have an irresistible charm and an unforgettable sound. With a long history in Austin, the group is not one that is easy to forget about, and after seeing them perform you won’t be able to either.
