Celebrate trees and the vital resources they provide at an Arbor Day Celebration at the Capitol on Friday, November 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Learn why trees are important and how to plant and care for yours. It will be fun, family friendly, and the perfect kickoff event for tree-planting season. In fact, 300 bur oak seedlings will be given away at the celebration!
On Friday, Austinites are invited to enjoy educational booths, games, giveaways and more. Brought to you by Texas A&M Forest Service and Texas Forestry Association and co-sponsored by the City of Austin.
