Austin ISD (AISD) will host the ninth annual Back to School Bash Celebration and Safety Fair at the Austin Convention Center on Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 9 a.m.–noon. Families can stop by the free event to learn about the district’s programs and services.
Doctors from Seton also will be at the event to provide families with free vaccinations, which are required for students attending AISD. Additionally, families whose children attend the event will have access to free backpacks and other school supplies, while materials last.
Attendees may receive:
- Free backpacks and school supplies (child must be present to receive a backpack, while supplies last).
- Free immunizations by Seton (must have shot records)
- Free vision exams and eyeglasses
- Door prizes
Austin ISD is offering free shuttles every 30–45 minutes beginning at 7:30 a.m. from these locations:
