Adult Craft Night: Hand Warmers

Need an excuse to run away without the kids for an evening of free crafting fun? If so, Central Library invites you to attend Night Crafters

WHAT: Night Crafters – a free monthly craft night
WHERE: John Henry Faulk Central Library, 800 Guadalupe Street
WHEN: Monday, December 29, 2014, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
WHO: Adults interested in crafting
CRAFT: Hand Warmers!

This month, Night Crafters will learn how to make hand warmers. There will be sewing machines handy (or needle and thread for those who are not willing to venture down that road just yet), and there will be plenty of fleece, flannel, and cotton fabric to make hand warmers. The buckwheat-filled hand warmers can also be used as ice packs!

You can be a total craft novice or a crafting professional, all are welcome. If you’re a novice, be sure to arrive on time to learn the how-to’s. The last hour will be dedicated to making.

Night Crafters will be held at Central Library, the last Monday of every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Meet on the 2nd floor in the programming area. For more information, please call 512-974-7400, option 1. This is an adults only craft program
