ACE Innovation Day

On Saturday, April 26, 2014, students, parents and teachers are invited to ACE Innovation, an event celebrating the teaching of vital innovation skills and techniques to K-12 students. At ACE Innovation 2014, visitors will celebrate, demonstrate and explore what it means to be creative and innovative in a city that has earned a worldwide reputation as a source for innovative thinking. The event takes place from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the UT Thompson Conference Center. Admission is FREE, but VIP passes are also available for $10.


Activities include:

  • Interactive Tables – Hands on activities where visitors directly experience real innovations form both professional and student worlds.
  • Student Inventions – New gadgets and devices that visitors can test drive.
  • Student Business – Affordable, outside-the-box products/services, on the hunt for early customers.
  • Speakers and Entrepreneurs from the Community – Share the energy and wisdom.
The whole family is welcome. There will be games and building activities for the younger visitors, as well as in-depth and thought-provoking activities for adults and students of all ages. For more information, visit the ACE Innovation website.
