OV Dog Jog at 606
Saturday, February 2 | from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Outdoor Voices, 606 Blanco St.
You’ll be hitting the trail for a Dog Jog from the OV shop. Bring your pup (or borrow a friend’s) and meet at 606 Blanco St. You’ll jog-walk 2.6 miles in the ‘hood and chow down on plenty of treats — human and canine — provided by FitJoy, Chameleon ColdBrew, Grocery Pup, and Tomlinson’s. Free.
12th Annual Puppy Bowl
Saturday, February 2 | from 12 to 3 p.m. | Austin Humane Society, 124 W. Anderson Ln.
Another football season is heating up and the Austin Humane Society is counting down the days until the 12th Annual AHS Puppy Bowl presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B in partnership with Nestlé Purina Petcare. The big party before the big game is a football-themed, family-friendly tailgate which takes place on Saturday, February 2 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Austin Humane Society. This year’s tailgate will be jam-packed with delicious food, drinks, kid’s activities, and other vendors. Plus, our puppy players will again be on hand to make their prediction for Sunday’s big game as well as battle it out on the gridiron in the most adorable competition of the year – the MVP races! Join for this free event with your General Admission ticket or get the full VIP experience as a “Very Important Puppy-fan”! With your $20 donation to AHS you will receive: VIP Swag Bag with commemorative Puppy Bowl t-shirt, entry into the exclusive VIP Fan Zone provided by NXNW Beerliner, one free VIP drink ticket, and entry into the tastiest tailgate competition. This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome.
Valentine’s Flea

Come on out to Austin’s happening space at Still Whiskey for a rip-roarin’ good time as you shop for all your lovelies, drink and dance to your heart’s content. It’s a Valentine’s Flea, y’all! Live music throughout the day! Plus, Flea Bags to the first 20 folks thru the doors! Also, all bar proceeds will be going to four-legged friends at Blue Dog Rescue! They’ll have some of their foster dogs on-site so get ready to be charmed! The Austin Flea features all local handmade items and vintage wares from some of Austin’s most amazing and talented vendors.
Puppybowl Live III

There will be puppies playing football. That’s really all you need to know, BUT, we do have more details. Join for four quarters of matchups, plus two overtime quarters, and featuring a halftime show of APA! adoptable puppies taking to the gridiron in an epic display of uninhibited cuteness benefitting Austin Pets Alive! The event is free to attend as a spectator. Enter your pup to play for a $25 donation to Austin Pets Alive! Is your dog 30 lbs or under and ready to rumble?! Sign up your pup and get one drink ticket (redeemable at our outdoor pop-up bar), a Celis Brewing Co. swag bag, and a team bandana for your dog. Your $25 entry fee will be donated to Austin Pets Alive at our halftime check presentation.

First Ever No Kill Day at the Capitol

Meet at the front steps of the Texas Capitol for the First Ever No Kill Day at the Texas Capitol and show your support for ending the killing of homeless pets! Celebrate the progress already made in reducing the number of shelter deaths across the state and show our appreciation to those legislators helping our four legged friends. On Saturday, February 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., DOGPOP will bring its dog-friendly market and pup party to the parking lot of Birds Barbershop at 1902 South Congress in the heart of the South Austin. Highlights include a pet costume contest, dog play area, 20+ pet-industry and local maker vendors, drinks from Independence Brewery, local food trucks, and music by DJ Girlfriend. The event is free, with a suggested minimum donation of $5 to benefit the Forgotten Friends.
