5 Free San Antonio Light Displays
The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW)
Walk, don’t run, through UIW’s twinkling trees! UIW’s annual Light the Way event takes place in late November, but the lights stay twinkling throughout the holiday season. You can drive or walk through this spectacular display for free making it a great option for a family night. Located at 4301 Broadway.
This downtown park is perfect for a night out. Their 50 foot Christmas tree is covered in handmade ornaments and over 10,000 lights, but that’s not all! Enjoy free move nights at the park this holiday season. For a little more exercise, give ice skating a shot right here in the park. Travis Park has also partnered with Sea World for a Holiday Loteria Hunt, where you can win amazing prize packs by finding the Loteria Cards that are hidden across downtown. This has been a tradition in San Antonio for over 60 years, and we are so happy to see that the tradition is staying alive.
