This Is Mesmerize Halloween Weekend Spooky Special

This is Mesmerize follows the journey of amateur tinkerer and artist-turned-explorer, Mesmer, who one day discovers a secret: we are not alone. Special for Halloween weekend, the exhibit includes photo contests, costume contests, prizes and goodies, a spooky soundtrack, and lots of candy! Tickets are $40. Fun for kids and adults!

Haunted Drive-In

All of October the Blue Starlite Drive-In will be showing halloween movies from Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, to the Rocky Horror Picture Show! They will be utilizing all three locations, Mueller, Downtown, and Round Rock! Don’t miss out on this once a year event. Find screenings and showtimes here.

Nightmare on Gibson Street

Join Gibson Street Bar for a very halloween experience. Their bar is decked out in halloween decor and provides a fun environment! You even have to go through a giant skull to enter the bar!

Ghost Walk Tours

If you are drawn to stories of the macabre then this night ghost tour is for you! Enjoy tales of a murder, mystery, unrequited love and of course many, many ghosts! In Austin, nearly every street corner has a story to tell, you just need to be with the right guide.  Don’t miss this walking experience under the cover of darkness. Expert storytellers combined with the weirdness of Austin, it’s a hauntingly good ghost tour! $20 per adult. Kids 10 and under are $10.

Growlers, Ghosts, & Ghouls

Celebrate halloween with Growlers costume party and tap take over! Their entire tap wall will be going for $3 a pint in addition they’ll have $6 flatbreads, a DJ, Prizes and more! There will be great German/ Fall Seasonal food menu, great bands, and, of course, lots of beer! Dress up in your finest lederhosen and zombie masks too! They will open at 12pm and our festivities will begin at 2pm. Safety protocols will be in place, masks will be required and all guests will need to remain seated when not ordering at the bar. Seating will be first come first served inside and outside. There will be overflow seating available in the Pond Garden on the other side of the parking lot (we encourage you to bring a camp chair or blanket if you plan to sit there).
