Community Easter Egg Hunt

Children of all ages are invited to hunt for the thousands of eggs hidden around the Huston-Tillotson University campus during the Eleventh Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled on Thursday, March 24 at 4 p.m., 900 Chicon Street.  The Easter egg hunt features a $500 scholarship prize egg, prize eggs for school supplies and gift certificates, and eggs with candy and coins.  Children will gather in the Mary E. Branch Gymnasium for a brief meaning of Easter story time before joining their age groups and beginning the hunt. The event is FREE and open to the public. For more information, call 512-505-3073.

Egg Egg Festival and Picnic at the Capitol

A sweet “hunt” with the littlest friends (infants to five-year-olds) will be followed by races of egg-rolling for school age kids (Kindergarten to 5th grade) and there will be tables with face painting, cookie decorating, crafts, games, and more. A visit from the Easter Bunny is a special tradition. Bring your cameras, blankets, Easter baskets, and a picnic lunch. Barbecue and hot dogs will be available for purchase with all proceeds supporting First UMC’s Eurasia Mission Team. Non-perishable food donations will be collected for the Capital Area Food Bank. Easter Eggstravaganza

Play For All Special Needs Egg Hunt (Round Rock)

Seton Medical Center Williamson Outpatient Pediatric Rehab and Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department invite you to come out to the Play for All Abilities Park for our 4th annual special needs Easter Egg Hunt. This is a family-centered event, focusing on active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Siblings are welcome to participate in the hunt. Pre-registration for this event is encouraged. There is a limited number of participants allowed in each hunt, so sign up early to secure your space. This event is free, but again does require Pre-registration. Event day registration limited based on space. You may pick up your egg hunt wristband on March 17 & 18 at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center or on site the day of the event. Please bring your registration confirmation to pick up your wristband. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your hunt time to ensure that you are able to attend your designated hunt time. 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt (Hutto)

The City of Hutto Parks & Recreation Department will host its the Annual Egg Hunt at Fritz Park. Children of all ages from all over Hutto and neighboring communities come out to greet the Easter Bunny and Hutto Hippo and hunt for goodies on the hill at Fritz Park. Prize eggs are hidden for hunters to find and turn in to claim a prize. Hunts are split into age groups: 0-3,4-6, 7-8, and 9-10, and a special Adaptive Hunt. New this year they will also feature an Adult Egg Hunt for folks 18 and older. This year’s event will begin at 9 a.m. with opportunities to have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny, guess the number of jelly beans, and purchase a snack. The annual event will be a rain or shine event so please be prepared for the weather. No pets, please.

Easter Egg Drop Extravaganza (San Marcos)

You’re invited to a FREE Easter Celebration for the entire family! The largest Easter egg hunt the San Marcos area has ever seen will have 40,000 eggs dropped from a helicopter in a designated zone for the kids. There will be multiple drops for different age groups as well as a specific area just for toddlers. For each hunt the drop zone will be cleared, eggs will be dropped from the helicopter, and finally the children will be released to collect the eggs. The helicopter will be showing up to drop the eggs starting at 11:30 a.m., so be sure to come early! In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be fun activities for the entire family. There will be inflatables, face painting, a photo booth, a live DJ, and the Easter bunny will even be there!
