Kid-Friendly Haunted House at Toy Time
Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., through October 31   |   Toy Time, 101 Pecan St W, Pflugerville
Toy Time is hosting a small, kid-friendly haunted house, now through Halloween. Drop in and check out what frightful things they have in store for you. FREE, but monetary donations will be accepted and proceeds will go to a local charity.

2nd Annual Davidson Family Haunted House
October 23, 24, 30, 31 at 8 p.m.  | 10012 Hidden Meadow Dr, Austin
Explore eight different rooms of terror at this family-friendly haunted house. FREE entry, but donations are appreciated. All donations will go toward funding winter supplies for a youth shelter.

Rosewood Community Halloween Carnival and Haunted House

Dittmar’s Halloween Spectacular

Enjoy a community carnival and a haunted house put on by teen volunteers! FREE! The carnival begins at 6:30 p.m. See the movie Casper in the park, starting at sundown.

Dove Springs Fall Festival and Haunted House

Join Dove Springs for their annual Fall Festival, an evening with seasonal activities and costumes inside the recreation center. The Festival will include informational tables from local community groups, carnival style games, a haunted house for those brave enough to try, sweets and treats. FREE!

Brush Square Museums Halloween Event

Join Brush Square Museums for an eerie, insider’s look at the exhibit “In Loving Memory:  the Art of Victorian Mourning,” followed by “Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure,” a ghastly, downtown walking tour hosted by Save Austin’s Cemeteries.  FREE!

Sinister Circus Halloween Carnival

Come one come all, step right up to the main event of the year under the Northwest Big Top! You’ll find everything to have a haunting good time: bounce house, popcorn, carnival games, candy, prizes, a sinister circus trick-or-treat trail and even more Halloween fun! First 10 tickets and endless trips through the Trick-or-Treat Trail are FREE! Additional tickets are just 25¢.

Haunted House in Cedar Park

This FREE, “high-intensity” haunted house for adults in Cedar Park runs both Friday and Saturday night.

Haunted House and Carnival

Mu Sool Won of South Austin Martial Arts is hosting a FREE Haunted House and Carnival on Halloween this year. It will be open to children of all ages. There will be a Haunted House with zombies, carnival games, a costume contest, prizes, and lots of candy.

Halloween on the Farm
October 30 from 5-8 p.m.  |  Green Gate Farms, 8310 Canoga Ave, Austin
Join Green Gate Farms for some spooky fun: tour the Haunted Hayloft, paint pumpkins (and feed the “guts” to the pigs), be part of the Costume Contest, get your fortune told, drink cider, and more! Admission is $5 for ages 5 and older (only children will receive pumpkins).

Halloween Graveyard Tours
October 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m.    |   Potter’s House Christian Church, 13461 Pond Springs Rd, Austin
“Here…the dead tell tales…..” As you stroll through the woods, hear the dead tell their stories.  Do you dare enter? Tours take place outdoors. There is no physical contact. 11 and under requires an adult. $2 per person.

Boo at the Zoo
October 23, 24, and 30 from 6:30-9 p.m.   |   10808 Rawhide Trl, Austin
Wear a costume, ride the haunted train, explore the haunted house, and see the animals by the glow of your flashlight. The zoo will be illuminated and decorated. Get tickets in advance by calling 512-288-1490. Tickets are $12.50.

Pioneer Farms Haunted Halloween
October 23 and 24 from 7-10 p.m.  |   10621 Pioneer Farms Dr, Austin
Creepy scarecrows, ghost stories and all things scary will be featured at the Halloween festival. This year’s theme will be “Grimm’s Ghostly Tales,” featuring three separate spooky trails each night — one for young children (amusing, rated G), another for those who want spooky surprises (rated PG) and a scary, scary trail for the adventurous (frights galore, rated PG-13). Spook lights, ghoulish stories, pumpkins, food, drinks and souvenirs promise to add to the fun. Palm readers and fortune tellers will be on site all nights to give visitors a peek into their past or future. Admission is $12 a person, a real 1800s bargain for this spooky family fun event, Austin’s legendary Halloween experience for all ages. Nightmare on Jail Hill
October 23 and 24 from 7-11 p.m.  |  4th and Main Street, Georgetown
This haunted jail is sure to scare. Nightmare on Jail Hill takes place at the Historic Williamson County Jail. As a guest, you will be guided through three floors of twists and turns while in the narrow dark hallways of solid concrete and steel! This is a real jail that was built in the late 1800s, so once you are in….. There is only the one way out! Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children ages 8-12. House of Torment
Open every evening through November 1, plus the first 2 weekends in November  |  523 E Highland Mall Blvd, Austin
This haunted house is not recommended for small children. Tickets start at $24.99, plus a $2.95 service fee if you buy tickets online. Tickets can be purchased at the door. See the schedule with pricing. There is no charge for parking.

Dread Asylum
October 22-24 and 29-31 from 7:30-11 p.m. on Thursdays; 7:30 – midnight on Friday and Saturday  |  J. Lorraine Ghost Town, 14219 Littig Road, Manor
The Littig Asylum and Sanatorium has reopened under the guidance of the world-renowned doctor, Gaius Timor. Do you suffer from nyctophobia (fear of the dark), arachnophobia (spiders), hemophobia (blood), or others? What makes you shiver and your skin crawl? The Littig Asylum and Sanatorium can help! Led by highly qualified personnel, your tour includes the entire facility and the opportunity to observe traditional as well as cutting edge techniques. The tour may be vigorous at times, and may include running, climbing, crawling and dodging, but it is perfectly safe and will be monitored by government officials. Tour groups of 6 are by appointment only and limited availability, so act quickly. Phobia Asylum tickets can only be purchased online for $40 each.

Haunted Garden at UMLAUF

An evening dedicated to adults with eerie sounds, lights and elusive memories by Ilios Lighting. This engaging event of food, amusements, music, and alcoholic alchemy will feature local sound design artists to cultivate a fresh aspect of the Austin music scene.
