2015 Ballet Austin Studio Spotlights

Have you ever wanted to watch a professional dance company in action? Up-close, personal, and informal, Ballet Austin Studio Spotlights offer guests a free behind-the-scenes look at choreography and elements of an upcoming production, while it is still in the works. Dancers perform excerpts from the show while Artistic Director Stephen Mills and Associate Artistic Director Michelle Martin lead a brief lecture and Q&A. 

Time slots for Studio Spotlight are as follows:

  • Belle Redux – Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Registration is open
  • Director’s Choice – Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Registration opens February 23.
  • Swan Lake – Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Registration opens April 6.

Kids and families who love to dance can also join Ballet Austin for several fun Family Dance Workshops, where all ages and levels of dance experience can try out choreography from the latest Ballet Austin production. Recommended for ages 3 – 12 and their families, the cost is $10 per person. Registration for all 2015 workshops is open now
