Deep Eddy Movie Nights, a family-friendly summer tradition since the 1940s, return this year on Saturday, June 28, 2014. The City of Austin invites families to see four movies on a giant 20’ x 11’ inflatable screen, while enjoying a swim in Texas’ oldest swimming pool.

June 28 kicks off the series, with a screening of Frozen, beginning at dusk. Deep Eddy Movie Nights will continue on select Saturdays through August 2, 2014. Pool-goers are encouraged to enjoy the show from the grassy slope, concrete steps, or to bring along an inner tube for floating in the refreshing 70-degree water.
