2014 Buda County Fair and Wiener Dog Races

Did you know that Buda is the Wiener Dog Capital of Texas? This weekend, April 26 and 27, 2014, the Buda Lions Club will host the 17th Annual Buda County Fair and Wiener Dog Races at Buda City Park. Admission is $3 for adults and kids over 12. Kids 12 and under get in free!

Along with wiener dog races, which begin at 10:30 a.m., the fair will have live music, arts and crafts booths, a washer tournament, a cook-off, bake-off, and the Buda Bee spelling bee for elementary school students. Click here for the full schedule


The Buda County Fair will also feature a Kids Zone with inflatable slides, a bounce house, obstacle course, train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, rock climbing, and more. Activities in the Kids Zone will vary in price, or guests can purchase a wristband for $10.

All parking will be at a park-and-ride location on Cabela’s Drive in Buda, north of Noah’s Ark Storage.
