From a pop culture classic that will have your toes tapping to the symphony strings under the stars, there’s something for everyone in Austin this weekend. So grab a group of your pals and head to one of these events that are sure to keep your July jamming.

Thursday, July 6

Pulp Fiction Beer Dinner with Saint Arnold Brewing

The Alamo Drafthouse Ritz is partnering with Saint Arnold Brewing to bring you the epic Pulp Fiction Beer Dinner. Blessed is he who joins for the specially created four dinner courses and four perfect beers. No word on whether Le Big Mac or Royale with Cheese will be on the menu, but we’re betting there will be something kinda like it.

Pop Princess Dance Party

If Pulp Fiction isn’t your scene, maybe this event will you more hyped. The Ritz’s late night Pop Princess Video Dance Party will include the best pop divas of all eras. From the early years of music videos in the ‘80s all the way today, where music videos have evolved into an art form unto themselves. Dress up like your favorite princess and get down to the Alamo Drafthouse and “keep dancin’ till the world ends!”

Friday, July 7

First Friday Art Walk Bastrop

On the first Friday of every month, Bastrop galleries, boutiques, and other small businesses stay open late to showcase works of art and wonderful wares during the First Friday Art Walk. Locals and visitors alike are invited to support local commerce and talent by heading over to Bastrop’s Main Street to enjoy a seasoned mix of art, live music, dining, and shopping.

Welcome To Our Tribe: Eastside Pop Up

Support your community at this handcrafted and vintage market featuring libations from Cheer Up Charlie’s and food by Arlo’s. Not only will you be supporting small business, the Eastside Pop Up tribe will also be donating 10% of all vendor sales to Society For Animal Rescue and Adoption.

Georgetown Market Days

Head to the self-proclaimed most beautiful town square in Texas for Georgetown Market Days. This kid and pet friendly event takes over the square for a day full of live music and tons of vendors to shop.

Wildlife Rescue’s 40for40 Fundraiser

Join the ABGB to celebrate the Wildlife Rescue’s 40th anniversary and help raise $40,000 to continue work on their new rehabilitation facility. All donations will be matched by a generous donor, so your gift of $25 becomes $50 and $500 becomes $1000! Tito the Tortoise will be on hand, plus there will be raffle tickets and prize baskets.

Red Line Brewery Tour: Summer 2017!

Take the Capital Metro MetroRail Red Line to visit three local Austin breweries on the Red Line Brewery Tour. Complete the three stop tour and get a new free pair of Sock Club socks designed just for this tour (supplies of free socks are limited and will be given out on a first-come, first served basis to the first 200 people who complete the tour). The brew stops are (North to South): Circle Brewing Company at Kramer Station, Black Star Co-op Pub & Brewery at Crestview Station, and Zilker Brewing Company at Plaza Saltillo Station.

Full Moon Fever at Pinballz Lake Creek

Pinballz Lake Creek has Full Moon Fever! Howl at the full moon during this werewolf-themed event. Check out their amazing 7D Dark Ride Theater, snap some scary selfies with costumed performers from Global Fear Enterprises, enjoy specials on delicious craft beer from Austin Beerworks, and enter to win prizes including VIP passes to an exclusive screening of forthcoming fright-film Wish Upon, courtesy of Broad Green Pictures.

Austin Symphony Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park

All summer long, the Austin Symphony brings you free ensemble concerts in the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace. Each Sunday, a different ensemble will be featured, and on July 9 the strings will take center stage. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket or a chair and enjoy live music under the stars.

Farewell Bar 96 (Closing Party)

Bar 96 will be closing its doors for good on July 9. Join the bar for one last day of fun with drink specials, tunes by DJ Will Rhodes, and a dunk tank, where you can try your luck at dunking your favorite (or least favorite) staff members.
