Slugbug’s ‘Stupid Rock/Bee Caves’ Brings Austin Experimental New Sound

Slugbug, an experimental band from Austin, has released the Stupid Rock EP, a four song release with some of the most interesting sounds we have heard all summer.

Opening number “Stupid Rock/Bee Caves” is a track that takes influences from a variety of different genres, including the 80’s to write a unique song that no other Austin group is writing currently. With spaced out vocals from front man and lone member Paul Millar and his talents on a variety of instruments, Slugbug is a project that everyone should listen to at least once.
