LOST: 9/27/16 two cats around a year old. I adopted them a few weeks ago and they are indoor only. The tabby with the white chest is a female named Whiskey she is very petite and probably weighs around 7 pounds and the black and white is male named Bug and weighs around 9 pounds. They got out late last night and we cannot find them anywhere. We are hoping they are close and hiding but we live near a busy road so I am nervous. They have no collars since they were supposed to be inside only and they are most likely not microchipped (was planning on taking care of that soon). We live near Manor and Airport and they were last seen on Moss St. in east Austin. They are both pretty skittish around new people but are very affectionate. 512-983-3885 if found.

Hello! I was informed recently that my dogs ran away last week 09/18-09/24. The white dog is a papilon mix, he responds to Snoopy. My brown dog is a dachshund and responds to Pancho. Both are chipped and neutered and were last within the East Austin area, specifically off of Airport Blvd and Springdale Ave. Snoopy has ran away before and has gone as far as I-35, so please, if you have seen any signs of them please message me. Thank you.

Katie GingrichIt looks like an Australian Shepherd, not a Border Collie unless it has a tail. Aussies can have tails too. It's "Tri colored" if that helps while searching.

PRINCE AND KOPA ARE MISSING!! SOUTH AUSTIN!! Manchaca and slaughter/ Tanglewood forests. Both are very friendly. However, Prince (the white one) is very afraid of people and wont come up to you. He is a rescue dog from a hoarding situation and is just working on trusting people. Please help!!

My dog passed away and I was wondering if AAC will take leftover dog food that isn't in the package anymore? It's in a big Tupperware thing. I also have food/water bowls with a stand.

Feel free to delete after my question is answered.

Elizabeth McManusI'd bag it in big ziplocks and give out to homeless people you see with dogs. I don't know that the shelter would take it opened like that. Sorry about your pup.

Hilary ChristensenAAC does have a nice spot in their shelter for food, opened or sealed. Best part is, you can go in and take stuff from it. So pets of those who are in need often can get food there.

Brittany LeighA couple dogs came in to AAC today and there wasn't a picture posted for them, might be worth following up with them even if the listed breed is off. I know one came in as a pit bull mix. But anyway I walked my dog through south Brentwood tonight and no luck.

Forrestt EubanksHi Carly, sorry your Tank is missing. Please see the info in the below link and follow all of the steps outlined to help you get him home. Thanks! Admin austin.craigslist.org/laf/5595545350.html

Tracy PoudrierDid you report him missing with the microchip company? I run into so many people that are "given" a dog when they come into the vet clinic and we scan and find the microchip. They then call the company and have all info transferred into their name. So report missing if you have not so someone cannot change the contact info on you.

Carly HoffpauirI don't have his micro chip number, do I need it? And is there a website I should use?

Forrestt EubanksCarly, You will report Tank lost on the site for the installed microchip. Do you know what company your microchip is from? If you do not, please contact your vet, or the organization that installed the microchip to get the info.
