It’s that time again! Yes, the holidays have snuck up on us once again, and you know what that means. Parties, party food, shopping, presents and of course, lots of lights!

This Saturday, November 23rd, The Domain presents the 7th Annual Lighting of the Great Tree. The Domain, located in North Austin, will host an entire day of holiday festivities all leading up to the lighting of a 40-foot Christmas tree with more than 6,000 lights, 400 ornaments and a five-foot star topper!

Festivities will start at noon and will include face painting, balloon twisting, caricature drawings, holiday crafts and photos with Santa. All activities will continue until 5pm near iPic Entertainment.

The tree lighting will kickoff in front of Macy’s at 6pm with musical performances by the local children’s choir, Outside Voices, as well as, Country singer-songwriter, Phil Vasser. And if that’s not enough entertainment for an already fun-filled day, stick around and watch a fireworks display light up the sky!

The event is FREE and open to the public, so the earlier you get there, the better! Mark your calendar, and have a great time!
